The Wasdale reroute

Wasdale Head, Lake District. Walked on a clear morning after a week of rain.

The Black Sail slip took out part of the direct line below the col, so the almanac card for this route now follows the detour on the east side of the beck. Distance and ascent on the card were updated to match.

What changed

• Distance: 14.2 km, up from 13.6 km.
• Ascent: 890 m, up from 850 m.
• The crossing below the col is now a footbridge, not the stepping stones.

Why this page exists

It is a plain folder of static files, dropped onto Stasho and then claimed into the demo account. No repository, no build step, no pipeline: what was dropped is what serves.
